Purrpetual: the cozy cat-wheel simulator.

Kick back and watch adorable kitties run their hearts out, mysteriously minting tokens with every loop. Trade those loop tokens for tasty treats, playful toys and other delightful rewards. Relax, unwind and let the purr-powered fun begin!

A game prototype made over 4 days for the GMTK Game Jam 2025.

How to play

Game can be played entirely with mouse or on a touchscreen.

Inventory:

• Click to swap cats or give food.
• Click and HOLD to use toys.

Shop:

• Complete loops to buy items from the shop.
• Food items can stack.

Cats:

• Food = energy.
• Keep the cats fed or they will stop running!
• Complete loops to level up your cat.
• Higher level cats run faster.

It is possible to complete and "win" the game!

Known Issues

• Web build:
  • Apple Mac Chrome - the cat animation can freeze.
  • Apple Mac and Android - background blur (behind menus) is solid black. Unknown if this causes other issues.
